Veprinac is an ancient historical town on the slopes of Mount Učka. The Leprinac Cultural Society, named after the local name for this medieval town, takes care of the preservation of its rich cultural and historical heritage.
The association includes the Klapa Mirakul vocal group and the Maestral mixed choir, and manages the ethnographic collection located at the entrance to the old town, with numerous exhibits that depict life in the area at the beginning of the last century.
Leprinac also organises a range of social events such as the Feast Day of Saint Mark (the patron saint of Veprinac), klapa vocal group evenings in Veprinac, Labour Day celebrations, etc.
